Return Item Fee

Also known as bouncing a check, an insufficient funds fee, or a failed transaction fee. It applies in situations such as when you write a check, make an online bill payment, or pre-authorize a payment for more money than you have in your account.

$25 per item

Easily monitoring your account online and keeping it balanced is a surefire way of avoiding this one.

Deposit Return Fee

If you deposit a check that bounces, you will incur this fee.

$7 per item

If you make a deposit, for example a check, and the account that the check is drawing the money from doesn't have enough money to cover the amount of the check, the check will be returned to the bank that issued it. Make sure all checks you're depositing are from a reliable source, especially personal checks.
